2008, was funn... I joined the swim team, and meet alot of friends that helped me threw what I was feeling in that moment. Making me think and never to foreget that it was going to be okay. My mom has cancer, she had surgery last year, and she was in remission for a while. But after that the cancer had come back in her throat. she had radiation, and chemotherapy. You can just tell that she is getting worse, and painfull. She has her days where, she wakes up knowing that shes getting sicker and knowing there is no cure to cancer yet. And million of people are dying everywhere from cancer. Our family, had our moments of spending time together and playing games, and going out as a family. Things have changed, since she had recieved the message of the cancer returning. She hasn't been active in sports, its harder for her to get up every morning, trying to fill every morning with the satisfaction she needs. Knowing that any day could be her last. One of my fondest memories of 2008, was getting my dog, after a long day at swim practice. I come into my car, looking back and seeing a black lab lying on my sisters lap sleeping. Her name is Izzy, she gets horrible car sickness...Its so discusting..But I still love her. 2009, has brought good things and bad things...But it is only the begginging of a long chapter of my life. that will take place in highschool...;)
