Grand Mal Seizures: a regular seizure that affects the entire brain.Shawn has had these common seizures since he was young and these seizures make him uncontrollable to controll himself.
Fortnight:is a unit of time equivalent to fourteen days.Shawn's father wrote a poem of going from day to a week to a fortnight which was 14 days later dealing with Shawns condition of him having pain and seizures all the time.
Autonomic uncontrollable system reflex: Not being able to controll his movements or reactions during a seizure. Shawn gets this early on in the seizure and cant but help laugh and smile because of the electrical waves flowing threw his brain.
Quivering:To shake with a slight, rapid, tremulous movement. Shawns eyes start to move rapidly and his body begins to shake, as his father holds him close.
